During a walk, the owner saw her dog playing with something. When she approached, she saw that it was an egg – but there was no nest nearby.

An American woman named Erica was with her dog, Stella, near her home when she suddenly noticed her pet playing with a strange object. As she approached, she saw that it was an egg. At first, she couldn’t figure out where it had come from.

The woman searched all around, but could not find the nest. Later she called her young man, with whom they searched for hours – but the search for the nest was unsuccessful. Then Erika decided to take the dog’s finding home – and take care of the egg.

Stella had been watching the egg the whole time, as if she were waiting for her find to hatch. One morning the egg began to crack: “When it began to hatch, Stella knew something strange was happening. She watched the whole process for almost a day,” the owner said.

In the end, the little turkey hatched! The owner continued to take care of the chick, and now it is a week old. The chick is doing well and growing up – of course, under the watchful eye of the attentive dog.

For now, the family will continue to take care of the chick – and perhaps in the future they will keep the turkey in their yard. After all, the egg didn’t just happen to fall into their hands!
