Four little kittens were found on the streets of Arlington, USA. The poor things were squeaking all over the street, and their mama cat wasn’t around. When people noticed them, they decided to wait sometime until the cat came, but she never returned to the babies.
Then people decided to help and took the kittens to the nearest shelter, the Animal Welfare League. There, they were happily welcomed. The kittens were about three weeks old, skinny, weak, and shy.
All this time the kittens kept close to each other, supporting each other on the difficult journey. The first few nights were not easy – the caretaker often woke up to feed the kittens. They were still afraid of their new environment, and they were weak.
Only after a few days, did they get used to drinking from a bottle, and began to gain weight. Each of them (three sisters and one brother) had a special character and unique traits. The caretaker fell in love with these babies!
When they learned to walk, they began to explore every corner of the house all the same way, without leaving each other’s side. They were very grateful to a caretaker named Penny, and made no secret of their love. The kittens loved lying on her lap and purring loudly.
Now the kittens have grown and are ready for permanent owners. The caretaker is already looking for the best homes for these cuties, where they will be loved with all their hearts!
